Do you have many spices and don’t know how to use them? Are you tired of the usual lazy dishes ? Do you know that you can use less salt in your recipes if you use the spices correctly?

You can renew your aromatic style, every day, knowing the different spices one by one and in a practical and simple way insert them in your kitchen abc.

Nowadays everyone has or receives a thousand spices as a gift, everyone has more or less heard of turmeric, they have thousands of ethnic and exotic recipes more or less complicated to access, but when it’s time to use them, they become discouraged and not they know if and how to experience them.

Do you know that curry is a combination of spices and each family has its own spice recipe, do you want to create your own curry to give your dishes a special touch and give it to your friends?

Gettring to know  the spices is a the true experience of the kitchen that is not made only of recipes but of small details and passion. We will teach them to ècucina Valeria Calamaro, spice expert and author of the book “the art of spices”,

What I will learn

The aim of the course is to tell and try the different spices, learning the basics of the art of using spices in the kitchen. in particular you will learn:
  • to recognize the taste that spices give to dishes (bitter, pungent, umami, salty, sweet or spicy)
  • how to mix them together and with different flavors.
  • how to always create new blends while having fun and having a great satisfaction, even with the simplest and least expensive dishes, like a simple boiled egg, which can become delicious and gourmet.BASES AND FLAVORS

    Who teaches

    Valeria Calamaro has been dealing with spice chains in fair trade for over 15 years, traveling and knowing in the field how they grow, as they are directly experiencing blends and combinations in the kitchen, she has written 3 texts on the subject, also involving several Italian chefs. He carries out workshops and seminars on the theme “The art of blending” for adults and children, he has collaborated with slow food and the University of flavors in Perugia and with Dolcemente Pisa. In the kitchen the inspiration is “corsara”, picking the good in every place and port where you are
    lands.
