Sake is a classic of Japanese cuisine, an alcoholic drink obtained from the fermentation of rice, but how to use it in the kitchen also in its sweeter and less alcoholic version of Mirim?
A course with an ethnic flavor is cooking with recipes that use sake to enhance the flavors: a must-try for anyone who is the first time to approach the intriguing drink!
In Japanese cuisine, mirin and sake are used in the kitchen as much as soy sauce. Extremely versatile, they are used to flavor meat and fish or to balance the taste of dishes based on strong flavor ingredients.
sake has now crossed the threshold of Japanese restaurants and many chefs are discovering it not only for traditional Japanese recipes such as ramen, but also for marinating, flavoring foods in recipes closer to our culture
The sake will introduce us to èCucina the chef Luca Fasoli on Monday November 23rd 2020 at 19.30, in Via XX Settembre, 90.
What will I learn?
During the cooking class the chef will guide you immediately in the practice and you will prepare with him all the mise en place, that is all the basic preparations that will be used to compose the dishes with the use of sake and mirim

Who teaches?
Luca Fasoli has been in the kitchen staff since the beginning. Ten years ago he made the school grow with his extensive knowledge of cooking and teaching experience. His recipes are transmitted with the calm that distinguishes him and the desire to show students the most correct methodologies and without shortcuts that lead to a quality dish. His international training led him to be well-versed in many recipes from other countries of the world
